I was a little disappointed that the HDD that was delivered is not to Seagate, it's a Hitachi. Equivalent, and that works very well, so I kept it, but I was expecting to receive Seagate, the picture accompanying the description of the article is that of a Seagate. But this is not specified in the text! I would have preferred a Seagate because I drive cloning software requires the presence of a Seagate product in the PC please run ... (freeware sponsored by Seagate!). Well, apart from that, no problem, it works very well for now (lifetime, we'll see ...). I mounted it on a Sony Vaio HDD 2004 smoothly and successfully. The original HDD showed signs of fatigue, to 15,000 hours and a lot of starts. The new has 25,000 hours but less starts, and shows no signs of weakness. Used HDD and repackaged, but the SMART data does not seem to have been reset, it is. As we can not find this kind of new product, it suits me to extend the life of that old PC that I like!
