Rarely there was CD's that I bought despite the high price .... In this CD I've done it, and not regretted. She runs with me for a few days continuously in the player! The question arises ... why ??? Who listens constantly German folk songs? A good question. I can think of several reasons a spontaneous .... firstly, the childhood memories of camping trips and bonfires ... bedtime chants of parents .... but also just great well done CD! Who would have thought that our folk songs can sound so modern and groovy? Dieter Falk (many from the casting sessions for the "Popstars" known) has really done the "classics" such as "The moon is risen", "Walking is enjoyable," ... to give a new face. He uses some of the usual clichés, so sounds "Do you know how many stars are there" suspiciously like "Change the World" by Eric Clapton before it is transformed into a lovely lullaby from the piano .... Even with "In a cool valley "awaits the listener actually Kenny G on sax. ..and in" Farewell brothers take "one would expect more the voice of Xavier Naidoo (sorry nothing against Rapsoul! Class Performance) ... One can be about shared opinion ... is Klau it? ... I think it's a really great successful (perhaps long overdue) working up some classics of German song good! Hm .... Maybe Dieter Falk is sometimes a bit too eager heckled by the musical styles in one piece. But there are the pieces have been very consistent and exciting reinterpreted. The style width ranges from rap to big band swing with big fan! Since it grooved and really swings it comes to the doctor! The toes rockers (and not just the toes) in "The Walking is enjoyable," to dance at "Bolle traveled recently at Pentecost", and one dreams in "The moon has risen". The CD is definitely a good mix of rap to Rockswing- Interprtationen "our" mouth organ! Made Genial! Musically at the highest level ... Of course there are always some critics ... see in previous reviews ... The people have not made my mind time to hear the slightest effort in the CD. OK ... tastes differ .... Okay. So there I have just the full roar! * G *
