Here are the facts, in my view:
- Design: class optics in the so-called retro look - the radio looks great..
- Processing: For the size of a heavy equipment (which it immediately leaves a quality impression) - which is due to the number and quality of the built-in speakers and the size of the power supply! Housing (timber) and front make a solid, well! Normal "processed impression. The remote control is rather ne laughingstock and a" cheap "version .....
- Sound: For the size very good and "bulky", but also more "dark" and slightly "bassy" (I can only regulate some of the treble, the bass can not be changed ...) Since the radio with us on the Cabinet stands, the spatial stereo sound is completely lost (due to the distance from the listener). This should be the case in most cases the use of such radios.
- Price: The big sticking point for all devices from Tivoli - definitely too high! Even taking into account the above-mentioned positive aspects of me - more than 200, - to 250, - euro is likely not cost such a device in my opinion. 379, - Euro are outrageous. Here Tivoli deserves every sold radio real money (which is legitimate ....). I myself have my device for 300, - Euro bought used - and even that is too much.
Thus from me because of the uniquely high price only 3 ***.
As a radio for the kitchen or the office sound pretty good.
For scarce 400, - Euro, there are also very good micro- or mini-plants - superior sound and structure this radio then far.
