Most receivers are wired with me a Panasonic Blu-ray player, a Sky receiver and a Panasonic plasma TV device via HDMI. The automatic level adjustment of the speaker worked with the included calibration microphone quickly and easily. The included manual is a folded Din A3 sheet and includes only the speaker placement. Detailed operating instructions can be found, unfortunately, only on the Internet. When you turn on one of the connected devices (such as Blu-ray) will start automatically and the receiver turns to the appropriate mode. The volume control of the TV and its remote control then adjusts the volume on the receiver and the TV menu is home theater volume displayed. The TV speakers is muted. If this is not desired, the receivers are switched off and everything is back to normal, a very nice feature. For the sound while watching TV from the TV device, a back channel was with me, however, still required, I have resolved with an optical cable from the TV to the receiver. Pressing the Home button on the remote control an overlaid on-screen menu that looks a bit antiquated, but is quite understandable appears. Here you can make the complete device settings and configurations. Settings without TV are a bit confusing even perform on the device display. On the remote control, I have not gotten used to this day, I find them in spite of a few buttons cluttered and I miss my number buttons to select the preset radio station. When sound I had to change some settings for my needs and am now quite satisfied. The Sony STR DH750 also has plenty of gadgets that I'm so gradually test yet and will then grudge here.
