For this I had initially 50 / 1.8 looked at for cost reasons the SEL. This is a very good lens with very few weaknesses. But ultimately, the angle was too small for me.
Then I had the opportunity to try out a Zeiss for an hour in the city, and have quickly found joy in it.
It is a truly excellent lens. Both what resolution, color reproduction, and the AF Schärfeverlauf concern (the AF weakness of user BF I can not tell).
For this I though analogous to Alpha mount 24er at open aperture reflections at obliquely incident backlight.
The dimensions of the lens I value not negative - Zeiss, means a lot and good glass, and which must now times purely somewhere. :-)
My Pro's and Con's:
++ Processing and haptics
Dimmed ++ sharpness
++ Color reproduction
++ Very low distortion
++ Bokeh
++ Imaging scale
+ Sharpness at maximum aperture
+ Faster and more precise AF
(desirable in 24mm) o No OSS
o Light falloff to 2.8 in low light conditions
Therefore, the judgment can only thumbs up and 5 stars means.
