I have bought to be able to occasionally play the players because of the price and my claim DVDs and audio CDs frequently. Actually, he does so (especially for the price) and tidy. However, the drive makes clear (Ratter / rattle / Run) noise while playing media. I've tried various DVDs and CDs. Have returned with a suspected defect the first player. However, the second just as loud. Ok, if you use it as a home cinema player and sitting 5 feet away and the film drowns out everything, it bothers a not, but if you want to listen to a CD a little quieter times, then the drive is audible in 2-3 meters. For my purposes, so unsuitable and as a reference for all those who want to pay attention to the running noise!
