- On the MacBook: The computer I have is a MacBook (purchased in 2010) and has no HDMI output! So to get the video output and MacBook have to buy a cable. I used this one Mini DisplayPort Cable Cable Matters - Thunderbolt to HDMI Black - 2m. After all connections: in System Preferences: Monitor for the release of this new device to indicate on its sound output to this case.
- On the job: The cable placed on the macbook, then simply connect the three cables of the box on a SCART adapter (or if any 3 inputs) .Then for the TV it should display the entry VCR.
- On the box: position the buttons on Pal and CVBS.
Other macbooks: on 2009 macbooks the sound will not be activated on the HDMI. There is a mini display port adapter + Toslink Audio to HDMI White could work around the problem (solution I have not tested). I tested the solution with a MacBook Air in May 2014 bought it works well.
