Sound good, but there are problems

I have the Zions ordered with the devil Aureal Fidelity to compare. I also find that they are withdrawn slightly in the middle. Obviously, it is the principle of in-ears, the sound is fundamentally influenced by the seat of the headphones in your ears. Too little bass? Deeper press ear, or slightly adjust the angle. In this respect, the sound perception depends not only on personal taste, but also extremely from their own physiognomy. The enclosed alternative papers are still very useful in the Zion. By the devil push the Standard Papers with me a little, but all the others are of so different that they are completely useless to me. So the next smallest are the same way too small for me.

So under the condition that the impression is extremely subjective, both because of my taste and because of the nature of my ears, I find that the devils are balanced in the mids. Voices and instruments sound by slightly more present, or perhaps "punchier". But if I do not press the devil properly fixed into the ear, they have far too little bass. For Zion's sake I get on the other hand easily a decent bass. I have spent hours between the two in-ears switch back and forth. My conclusion is, they both sound good, and not really much better than my nearly 15-year-old Sony plugs. Particularly if you do not constantly toggle between the two sounds of one or the other just fine, depending on which one first touches down ... so if they sound good now, it should be rather trivial as purchasing decisions, to the sound level is easy to high.

The problems or considerations should lie in the practicality: The Zion it is quite clear the cable. Through the fabric surface produces very clearly to be heard friction noise on the clothing, or in particular to the stubble when you can easily rotate even his head. If you are traveling outside the Zion umbrellas although well off, but the cable noise can only be described as extremely disturbing. Added to this are the own body sounds like breathing, the sound uncomfortably through foreclosure. You can lay the cable over the ear, and then there are virtually no more noise, but by design, the Zion are not intended. The cable is at a slight angle outward away, but if you want to place it on the ear, then the angle would have to be the other way around. As a result, it is extremely tricky to find the right fit and they also slip out. If they reinsteckt normal, they do not actually slip out.

The devil did not so strong problems with cable noise because the cable is almost "slippery" smooth. It is somewhat reminiscent of the skin of a lizard. It also has easy cable noise, but at roughly the same level as normal earphones. For the devils have another problem, I could hardly believe it: The design has outside a pinhole grid. If you have an unfavorable wind direction, then there is in one ear a clear wind whistling on grille. Hard to believe, you're almost inclined to clap at the end.

The last problem in the Zion is, at least for my situation, that the control of the headset on my HTC One S does not work properly with Android. Instead of pausing the music and forzusetzen calls you to someone (the last site called) when you press the button. And the volume control does not equal. On an iOS device, the course works both.

Anyway, I'll send back both Headphones. A recommendation I would be grateful, I had previously researched a lot, but in-ears are probably obvious not for me.
