Although the MM70i produce a slightly better spatial effect compared to the CX300 and bass are more present, without being intrusive, so here is lacking slightly to clear highs. Since the CX300 are astonishingly better for the votes to draw clear and authentic in pop music. The MM70i always seemed to me a bit dull before with the voices, so that the emotional impact of well-known pieces was slightly reduced.
This alone might not necessarily have been the reason that I have now but returned because I like to know wanted a remote control with iPod control and microphone for iPhone. Ultimately, the miserable wearing and handling comfort was the deciding factor. Why? This is due to an ergonomically wrong type. Sennheiser uses again an asymmetrical cable, with longer cable behind the neck to the right receiver (which I appreciate in my CX300 per se, because you can take out the handset without the cord falls off). That is, the main cable is not running centrally with respect to the head, but the side to the left ear. However, since not all easy remote control (FB) is also attached to the left side, always pulling the main cable, adversely affected by the FB, on the left ear. The supplied cable clamp can compensate for the problem, but is also depending on the clothes not always practical. I did this in any case increasingly annoying and sometimes stood by the clip, depending on the height of the attachment, the FB even suddenly on his head. If the FB, however, attached to the end of running behind the neck right earpiece cable, the weight would compensate and you would also have the usual operation on the right side as the Apple headset.
I have finally decided to do without the comfort remote control and the microphone, and to continue to use my sound even better in the overall impression CX300. (The supplied cable reel is incidentally also a joke and not to be used -. A further indication that the product development at Sennheiser has an unpleasant development)
Rating Explanation: sound 3-4 star, comfortable 1 star. Because sound is of course important, so even total 3 stars.
