The output frequency of Symphony X albums are rather spaced, each of the band's albums is still expected as the white wolf as the bar is set high every time !! Since "Paradise Lost" the musical atmosphere was darkened and it is not what "Iconoclast" that contradict this fact with its raids in the tortured depths of the soul and its beliefs and dependencies machines. I think listening to the first dice title track "Iconoclast" said it all. The piece represents all by itself what the essence of this monstrous album !! Michael Romeo lays us sick riffs and solos accompanied by the powerful voice of Russel Allen on which all the band's music. All this, supported by a relentless rhythm section and air synth beaches and virtuoso !! It has to do with sacred musicians unusual although actually some riffs seem to have already been heard, one is overwhelmed by the intensity of this opus, a real steamroller whose only respite comes when listening to the beautiful " When all is lost "that we will certainly look to for sure" The Accolade ". If this "Special Edition" includes 2 CDs and completeness of the songs composed by the group (but I have not seen simple editing will therefore end on "When all is lost" ??), however no n is to throw since 5 CD2 are equally intense and are integral to all !! It would be amiss to not advise such an album as this one key to excellence in the genre and as I already mentioned for the last "Rhapsody of Fire" shows us the quintessence of a group at the top his art !! A veritable deluge of steel !!
