Still captivating, but ...

However, I prefer from a star due to the technical problems as it just a little (certainly worthwhile) requires effort to move the games to modern systems up and running.

Steps that were necessary for me (Win 8.1 x64, i5 3470k, Radeon HD7870):

- Compatibility mode for XP or 98, that makes no difference

- Manually reduce the processor speed to "1"; to "msconfig" Run (Star Open Menu and simply type, or via the "execute" command) and in the tab "Start" under "Advanced Options" at a value of 1 Select "Processor Number".
- In addition, it can help to disable antialiasing.

Although then the first part was still not perfect, but the gameplay should be enough for compensation.
