Its design is friendly, but typical Mad Catz more sober than V.7 or STRIKE 7.
It takes up a good time on the desk, therefore its weight enough for a keyboard greatly influences its stability.
The grip is easy enough, soon enough we shabitue how to type on this keyboard and choice of mechanical keys like "switch Brown" makes it pleasant to use and is very responsive. Even sil can appear fragile in the beginning it is not so and it is dedicated keyboard for gaming and thus is resistant to heavy use. !!
System control buttons (via the fn key on the keyboard) work directly without having to go through the software, which is a plus.
At softkeys (software installation required to download) there are more than enough, especially with the ability to change mode which provides 3x more combinations.
The keyboard backlight is effective dazzling view to maximum (possibility of lajuster according to preference), which is convenient at night.
Regarding the possibility déclairer only certain areas of the keyboard (WASD and arrow keys) the idea is interesting day because they are distinguished if we turned off the rest of the keyboard.
However I find the night this system is problematic because it must choose which part of the keyboard off, even if you know the keys by heart, "must" for this keyboard would have been able to change the color on the WASD and arrow keys.
Another note: the programmable keys c1 to c5 are very close to directional keys, which in some situations can be confusing. The well separated direction keys were appreciable.
The wrist rest is not fixed to the keyboard, it is necessary to reset it every time you move the keyboard.
However, if the keyboard is not moving, the wrist rest remains secured.
Negative can be prohibitive, this keyboard is very discreet see noisy! therefore its use in intensive word processing mode is really discouraged.
