Customer Review

First of all, as good "Golden" from 2013 is also such a huge hit like "Need You Now" by the same name 2nd studio album, you will not find on the otherwise compositionally very successful recordings.

That does not at all now that it would be missing the album of depth, accessibility or quality.
Ums to anticipate:. Track No. 4 "Downtown" has (had) certainly Hitqualitäten and complements any outdoor Summer Fete, loose, light, airy, good mood spreading.

Back to album as such:

The regular gas issue (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) has 12 tracks with just under 44 minutes.

"Golden" has everything stands for Lady Antebellum, the characteristic sound on the band typical arrangements towards high really good songwriting. If not at the first or second hearing, most of the songs leave no later than the third pass the famous "earwig" effect, stuck.

What I also find very positive, in contrast to a number of Own Papers, n matter what genre, the Silver pizza - s'gibt also 'nen vinyl carrier hard to find - was not exploit nauseum and only to the temporal storage of CD with really no album enabled Fillertracks plugged. Personally, I find that anyway a bad habit that is often purely pulled from sale technical reasons for unwillingness of artists from the label.
No, every song is on the album, and its justification has to be on it since. Throughout the production of individual pieces is used to clean, clear and not overloaded, partly instrumental arranged very sparingly.

This can be seen already at the preview in the first track "Get To Me", which impresses itself because of its catchy rhythm and the song line immediately.

Track 2 "Goodbye Town" has similar caliber and more moderate pace, although me personally a little too much strain on the songwriting forth the lyrics the cliché of broken, abandoned Lovers. From the chorus of her song could also "She's Gone" say what the subject of non-poor Josh Kear composition would turn out a little more clearly. Rhythmically located in the lower mid-tempo instrumental and not overloaded, the song is a cross between a ballad and easy-listening rock with heavy instrumentation shares. For me one of the two weaker songs, but the determined will attract many visitors, especially because of the lyrics easy to remember, eindsilbige chorus invites to sing along ...

. Track No. 3 is quite clear - if you like - Classic Country, marked by Hillary's voice that is "supported" in the chorus by Charles Kelly and instrumentation fits the style of the song. Good number, not too fast, not too slow, scho fits ...

The 4th track "Downtown" is a) already previously reviewed by me and b) have been published even before the appearance even as a single, so is likely to be known not only to Lady A calibrated genre lovers.

Song no. 5 "Better Off Now (That You're Gone) is a Will Hoge composition, although also has sufficient Country elements, but is back-heavy and rock from the" "forth the whole 3 minutes, created quite fast strokes.

For "cooling" is available as track 6 then with "It Is not Pretty" a ballad with Hillary as the main singer. Not at all cheesy, a bit thoughtful and it reminds me of the rhythm ago - although differently instrumented, especially in the beginning - a little like "Things People Say" from the 2008 debut album with the band name.

Track 7 "Can not Stand The Rain" is indeed from the title really is not very original, x times already strained by Ann Pebbles on eruption to T. Turner, but has nothing to do with the hits of the past, but is a Trademark moderate Lady Antebellum song that goes along with superior speed and cool songwriting.

"Golden", of the album eponymous track no. 8 is a very nice, instrumental more guitar- because superficially drum-heavy-arranged melodic song that lives by Charles Kelly's voice, the harmony moderately gelungenem choral singing of the band and the resulting feel-good atmosphere. I like the whole album really, but this track is one of my favorites.

Track 9 turn lives of Hillarys voice and an escalating during the song, but not too high clock speed. When I heard the song for the first time, I was sitting on my exercise bike and did not notice how I unconsciously attracted the pace. Who remembers Beach Boys surf songs like "Do It Again", who knows what I mean, knows this effect, although the California-Boys had at that time with very little at Country Hut. Because you just have to .... :-)) Toll structured composition!

Song no. 10 called "All For Love" is assigned to the area ballads, but again without ever slipping into flatly. Charles Kelly's lead singer, Hillary rises later, what the power of song structure raises to slide into the quieter climes of the starting ends next verse after punchy Refrainund a bridge back to there again rebuild. Strong composition with equally strong Arrangement.

The number 11 on the CD is called "Better Man", written by Jason "Slim" Gabill, strong country-heavy with typical instrumentation. Singer Charles Kelly again. What Headbanger is the toe-tapping, with the beats move mid-paced, so you not overwhelmed or even permanent nodding.

Last track on the album is finally then "Generation Away" with a very slightly reminiscent of reggae and former Tom Petty compositions rhythm. Said immediately mitsingbare Refrain What the audience animation in live performance sure. Not the strongest song on the album, but has what.

Why only now writing a Renz Sion for an even longer available album is simply due to the fact that my US mitlerweile thanks familial "Dauergenudel" during my absence strengthened are the play-fire effect by itself -Vinylversion.

And I have to buy another LP, it must provide the Amazon Download - his version. The bet can not scratch at least ... :-)))
But what does not change the fact that nothing can replace vinyl !!!

All in all a great album from a band that I would like to see them again in the "country" ...
