This product is a MAR version of Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.
MAR simply means "Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher", which is another way that this Windows 7 version comes directly from Microsoft, and is meant for recycled PCs.
The DVD comes in a paper sleeve, as one would expect from DVDs or CDs from a magazine. However, this is no problem because it is very well packaged. A difference in the "normal" Windows 7 64bit version does not exist. While on the DVD is "backup media" but this does not matter.
Who now thinks the operating system pre-installed with adware or some other useless software arrives, you are wrong. Because it is a sale usual version.
Of course, a Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit key, which was present stapled in my case the supplied statement. This key label is located on a slide so that it can be stuck and peeled off to any object (eg a PC).
Installation proved to be exactly as you would expect from Windows 7: Simple and uncomplicated.
For me the price was a very convincing argument. It saves as much as 30 euros, compared to a "normal" Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit version, although it differs not at all from this product. And let's be honest: I do not need hard plastic cover which if you buy them yourself, in any case only a few cents more costs on my part.
In summary:
- Very good packaging
- Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit in a paper sleeve
- Key tacked on the bill; decreasing and-stick back
- 30 Euro saving compared to a "normal version"
- Differs by software not from a conventional version
