A singer disguised with a beard it's weird at first but you have to go beyond appearances! The song was beautiful and her voice, her interpretation was absolutely amazing !! I immediately wanted to know who that Conchita and I discovered that it was Tom Neuwirth, a gay 25 who had 'created' the character of Conchita in 2011 and was well known in his country in Austria. I went on 'You Tube' and I completely cracked on both songs sung by Tom as those sung by Conchita! I read that there were petitions that she does not sing at Eurovision, Facebook pages created for the boycott with homophobic and hateful, all to oust him from the competition. I thought she was not going to win Eurovision because of all this hatred! But no, in the end, thanks to its absolutely sublime provision of 'Rise like a phoenix', she handily won Eurovision and it was more than deserved! What overwhelming victory and what a great step towards tolerance and freedom to be who we want !! I hope one thing: we will not forget, she continues to sing, his talent is recognized at its fair value as it is an exceptional artist ...
