Reason for buying: I was in search of a buffer for video files
(A project has ever 1.5TB and until it is completed I have all the files with me rumführen)
I've now had for a few days and once in operation,
but the write or read rates convince me.
I have a 870GB same project stored on the HDD, and am on average at just over 100MB / s have been,
which is very fast but for as a hard disk.
(Of course, the rates depend very much on the host device from (in my case a brand new ASUS G750-JH)
and the read data carrier (in my case, an SSD), therefore the best conditions for such a test,
Therefore, the result in other users may differ significantly)
For the hard disk itself:
looks good (hopefully even longer ^^ but I thought it would WD Carrying Case risen)
the cable is short but certainly long enough for mobile use on the notebook,
as the cable is very thin, which hinweißt on an inferior screening,
but this is negligible in the small cable length again.
The HDD operates almost silently ...
