The exterior is simple but compelling. The player is fairly stable. Nothing is loose, everything is beautiful and durable. When the player is running, it is very quiet - I like that, because I want so hear the film and not the player)
Picture and sound too convincing! Now I can enjoy my LED backlight TVs in earnest. The interplay of the Blu Ray player and the TV is just great! Also the upscaling of DVDs convinced (which I'm glad to have my old DVD player going).
If you start a movie that goes very quickly - another plus.
Furthermore, the device has a USB port and everything important it is detected: photos, music, videos (.avi and .mkv).
The problems that some people have with the touch of a button on the remote control, so far I could not identify.
Also, the mentioned problem that the player is the last playback point does not notice when you look at a disc, I can not confirm. For me, the disc then always starts at the last playback point (one is alternatively made aware how to get back to the beginning of the film is).
For me, this player has everything I need - all at a compelling price. So if you do not want to spend too much money and still want to have a solid, quiet and above all technically good working unit, which is right here! So far I could not find anything negative about my new Blu Ray player.
Addendum 06.01.2011: After several feedbacks and also own tests, it has been found that not everything is easily recognized and rendered in .mkv format. So whom this is important, which should possibly look for another player. For myself, this is not a decisive criterion (but everyone has different needs), so it stays at the 5 stars.
