4. Conclusion
1. Background:
I ordered this Bitset because I've made very good experiences with the brand Metabo (cordless drill, chop saw) and I was looking for precisely this bit types in a clear and practical box.
2. Packing
When unpacking, I was once very pleasantly surprised. Bits can be found in a very high quality box that can also be super hanging on the workshop wall hole thanks to a slide-out hanger. The massive box is processed accurately and the bits can tuck easily and remove. No comparison to the cheap alternatives in which one hurt your fingers when you need friemeln the parts in the box. Unfortunately, the bits are partly heavily oiled, so that the packaging smeared inside something. So I can live quite well. All in all, a very clear and well-designed Bitbox.
3. Bits per se
Here came after a short use with me unfortunately already the first disappointment high. The per se optical quality looking and very precisely shaped bits indicate unfortunately rather quickly already first signs of wear and I'm not one of uncaring chasing the screws into the building fabric. It can therefore be a maximum of spoken satisfying DIY quality here. Apparently, the material is relatively soft. At these bits already hold a lot more than the very cheap bits, but much more can not be expected. Positive contrast falls to the well-chosen variety of bits, the colored markings and the good sorting. Here are accessed quickly at the right bits and facilitates pottering already immensely.
4. Conclusion
For this price you can obviously expect no more. Through the golden diamond reinforced bits Wera that I currently use on the standard Phillips and Torx sizes, I am obviously a bit spoiled. The Bitset from Metabo can of course not keep up with these mentioned indestructible Diamantbits but this brings a beautiful and well-stocked box with an ideal selection of bits and is naturally considerably cheaper. Personally, I would, however, replace any worn Metabo bit gradually against a Diamantbit. In the end I then quality Diamantbits that I use regularly and the seldom-used bits of Metabo in a good tidy box. So one has a suitable bit for every opportunity - even if it needs time to be a rare size or bit form.
I can only recommend this Set all hand and rather yourselfers who quickly need a good selection of bits and can be satisfied with an average quality and are ready after the first projects, depending on wear, one or the other frequently used Bit exchange for a better one. All the immediate need quality bits (eg craftsmen) that should grab the same to something better.
