The photograph is typical of MT-G2 lamps, and has an incredibly wide illumination (Flood).
One can detect a certain extent 3 "circles", a bright, focused spot that even a large tree still lit after about 300m in my tests, and you pretty much everything can see at that distance, as in the day.
The 500m given I can not quite confirm, but for these purposes is already a TN32 (incredible reach, more a lightsaber in the sky as a flashlight), or possibly even TN30 meaningful if one only lights in the distance.
The second circle is not very pronounced, but makes the photograph only multi-functional, and is substantially wider than the spot
The largest circle that makes the entire lighting (including the actual spot) of the lamp, the "flood" is also hammer bright and can be seen even on 20m something.
as a search lamp, emergency lamp etc. certainly very helpful, the control with the magnetic ring is also simple and intuitive.
The magnetic ring I think is very thoughtful, turned from left to right:
Level 1 (read cards, keep the night vision capability can etc)
Level 2 (Saving energy with some light)
Level 3 (bright enough to walk through the darkest night)
Level 4 (enough power, the lamp is also doing slightly warm, optimal performance as indirect lighting)
Level 5 (most are more unlikely to need)
Level 6 (3750lumen (an LED), has to be seen times)
Stand By (handy if you want to switch directly from off-state to the full power level)
Strobe (blinki blinki, unnecessary, but whosoever brauchts hats on board)
It has by far the control the option to preset the brightness, for example. Start with a switch on the lamp end in low mode or a, but otherwise turn directly from standby the ring to the left, and to start with 2750 lumens, or even strobe.
But beware: With switched Clicky and stand-by mode, the lamp also needs some power whether this can leersaugen the battery in a few weeks, however, I do not know, I würds the batteries sake do.
In direct comparison with a 48W LED car headlights and the Led Lenser M7R X can keep up here any lamp that M7R X has "only" 600 lumens and has the 48W LED headlights and indeed to the 3500 lumens, but simply illuminates just wide has even less range than M7R X.
The biggest flaws that I could see immediately after the first try already, were the uneven illumination, especially the 2 "Spots". The problem was solved here a matte screen film tailored to the glass that is self-adhesive. The light is so much more useful, especially for photographic purposes in the dark, unfortunately, the range is about 1/3 to about 1/2 estimated returns, but the thing lights up like this in the near EVERYTHING. The spot has no film additionally so "web type" lines, looks a little ugly, but I am also pleased with a focusable LL M7R X, the defocused has a perfectly uniform light image, and focused only something ugly is.
2 drawback is the size, but you knew in advance that there is nothing with "pockets" lamp, but only when you really need light (en masse).
PROs:
- Very very bright
- Long range (350 - I can definitely confirm 400m)
- Broad coverage can be used for near and far
- Better set brightness levels, no excessive gradations, which for any purpose while
- High-quality workmanship, only the bezel is something badly trimmed, but the supposed attackers hurt ^^
- Fits comfortably in your hand, the lamp would have imagined much bulkier
- Long term use in 3 and 4 fashion, despite usable brightness, thanks to 3 18650 :)
- Price / performance is currently perverse genius, 120 for such a bright lamp is gorgeous, batteries included would make the part to a must-have, the battery cost me alone already scarce 40 protected with 3400mA.
Contraindications:
- Heavy, large and also quite long.
- Photo is something ugly, and I know of no other large lamps with Fixzoom comparison.
- The case is no longer there, but cheaper by around 30
Conclusion:
Those looking for a lamp that is very bright, a well-balanced photograph has distance and near, but still want to get away reasonably low, the TN35 is the right choice. For photographers who like to take pictures in the dark (with auxiliary light), with a little "tuning" of the front glass is also optimal.
The TN32 / TN31 I would recommend for even greater beam range, said almost laser moderately looks only in white ... but costs almost twice, and it's a lot of light in the vicinity lost.
The TN30 is also a well-balanced Flooder, with some throw, but just 3 XM-L LEDs instead of MT-G2
