She makes really great pictures (whether manual or automatic mode). We put the camera mainly for landscape and Gebäudefotgrafien (inside and outside) and have so far achieved really great results.
Whether long exposures (at night), exposure series (Keyword HDRI) Markroaufnahmen or just the snapshot from the hip.
When "always with you" we have still a camera Ixus 430, but which is increasingly displaced in spite of great benefit "pocket suitability". The possibilities of the S6500fd is now really important for us.
Pro:
- Great pictures with natural color reproduction (not as quietschbunt as with other manufacturers)
- Various settings that let almost nothing to be desired
- Real wide angle (only a few bridge cameras)
- Easy Handling
- Zoom manually adjustable
- Good battery life (the annotation in the recession ahead of us "only 50 images" we can definitely not confirm). With reasonable battery (we use "eneloops") we come loose at 400-500 Images
Cons:
- Auto Exposure Bracketing unfortunately only up to max. +/- 1 EV (+/- 2 EV would be nice for HDRI). Since then helps only manual intervention ...
- Self-timer will be turned on again after each image is reset and needs for the next photo on the menu
- Tripod Mount unfortunately only plastic (but easily holds far)
We would buy us the camera definitely be back!
