I got the Netatmo Weather Station at Amazon Warehouse considerably cheaper, this was described by state "only" good, but the only thing I noticed is that the box was taped shut with a transparent package tape Amazon. Otherwise, everything tiptop, no scratches, nothing. As a new station stop. I was aware, even if necessary to get a back runner who has high deviations and where someone was unhappy, but one can at Amazon return anything if you do not like and thus the risk is indeed manageable. Amazon is there really great. I use the but almost never, and again, I'm going to keep the station. Why, because I come to the same.
When unpacking one encounters the stylish and visually attractive aluminum tubes. Prima. So what can you stand up to the living room, without noticeable negative. An installation guide is, a mini book, but that's enough. The large tubes for the inside is with plug operation (unfortunately no battery), the small tubes for the outside gets two AAA batteries, making it self-sufficient from the mains. The establishment is within minutes incl. Logging onto Wi-Fi. One must, however, register with Netatmo so that the data are stored there. I think that's not bad, it is also a nice map where all stations are listed and you can see the nice temperatures in the neighborhood.
The measured values of my modules are class: Max. Deviation 0.1 ° C, humidity to 4-5%. This is quite ok. In this respect, I can not say anything bad. The temperature can be calibrated (manual), CO2 automatically calibrates itself and humidity can not be calibrated.
The indicator of air quality in the interior is interesting, the pollution outside also and is an important tool, especially for Chinese in China's big cities, that people want to get always displayed there (I think therefore it is integrated), here the air quality in comparison is yes to Fortunately much better. Indications of day / month / year are possible and so you also get a nice overview over longer periods.
The app is great, clearly and on iPhone, iPad and on the web, you find yourself the same deal. One already mentioned map gives an overview of all the outstations of Netatmo. This is very interesting. There is probably a push notification to the iPhone and iPad in a storm and Co, but I could not try.
An interior module that you can hang up to / stand, like an old hygrometer / barometer / temperature gauge does not exist unfortunately. You always have to take the iPhone / iPad / her computer. That would be a great improvement, but it is no reason for devaluation. Because it is naturally clear, colorful and beautiful.
Overall, I am more than satisfied, any concerns I had not occurred and so I'm going to use this station often.
My tip: Try it and use the offer from the Amazon warehouse (if any). Here you can save a few euros. If nothing is there, but is also the station at the regular price a recommendation. Amazon as a dealer is anyway always a recommendation. The delivery was super fast again thanks to Prime - I like here just to shop.
