Fit:
I am 175 cm tall and have a very slim figure - it fits me great, but much shorter, he should not be. The other reviewers I can only agree that the sleeping bag of this size is not suitable for people over 178 cm in length (there are more models available).
Assessment of the insulation:
Since this is my first sleeping bag, I can evaluate the insulation quality only conditionally, would they but on good to very good value.
It should be noted that the waste heat of their own bodies is critical to the smooth temperature in the sleeping bag and this largely depends on the diet and the level of metabolism. You eat a lot and very high in carbohydrates, more calories than you burn heat and thus it is in a sleeping bag and a lot more warm (keyword thermogenesis). Also, in my opinion the sleeping mat is important for thermal insulation than the sleeping bag. I use the High Peak Frazer 180 (5 cm high). This insulates very well and in this combination, I'll probably be able to sleep well with ground frost even in nights.
