Only the controller on the PS3 sometimes bugged me a bit - I had already in Part 3 - and in Part 2 it was like did not expect otherwise. Sometimes the game does not respond as expected or the protagonist Nathan Drake jumping in a totally different direction than intended - which sometimes leads to unnecessary crashes (in the sense of deep, deep fall down and die) leads. In my opinion, the whole concept of the game and the incredible gameplay makes this but up for it.
The Essentials titles offered themselves because of the price of - mainly because the offered also at Amazon bundle 1 and 2 was even more expensive than these two Essentials editions together.
Since part 1 and 2 are older, there are enough reviews and descriptions, etc. here and in the rest of the internetwork, which is why I will confine myself at this point to the statement of my absolute enthusiasm for the entire video game series - in the hope of many, many more titles.
