The image is bright as can be, the colors are very well balanced contrary to what I read on DigitalVersus. Just do your own settings and do not hesitate to make several attempts. For my part I put everything on dynamics then I played with the contrast ratio and decreased a little color to it saturates less.
After setting the whole thing is very clear, precise and fluid.
However, when going 3D it would seem that the settings made in 2D not too suitable if you want to keep the effects of spurts and good brightness. Indeed 3D still clouded the picture somewhat. For now as my amp is not compatible 3D I use another HDMI port on the TV so I made special settings for these films but I wonder what will happen when I use the same settings 2D. For now in 3D, I have more or less left the basic settings that are very good for the relief (standard picture). I tested Prometheus bluray, the shock from the first images of the landscape is beautiful. Then the title appears, superb burst effect without overdoing it. The passage of the storm super spring too. The only limitation; the size of the screen yet very satisfying and the most of what I could take into account the size of my living room.
I spotted one fault a little inconvenient for the perfectionist that I am. On very clear white I discern dark vertical bars on the sides of the screen. This is not seen a lot and it is very discreet but I see it anyway under certain conditions. I'm curious if others have noticed this ...
His side, not much to say except that for an LED flat screen is not that bad one even containing low. Not up of a box that goes without saying but a good standard for a tv. For the rest I entrust the treatment to my amp and my speakers.
Level gadgets I have not tested everything but the embedded media player seems to play just about anything. Even the .flv videos captured on youtube is read for example. The upscaling is super good and great softened the image given the screen size it's remarkable! Nothing to say, well done Samsung.
I will finish with the right plan that Samsung will refund 100 on the purchase by saying that if you had a question you could frankly darken. Value for money and despite the size of the image screen is practically perfect.
