I drive a white vehicle with correspondingly intensive care paint surface. After I (distributed applications in recent years on verschiendenste vehicles) many waxes and sealers have tried, I have also found a wax of Collinite, but the most significant, in my view "Marque d'Elegance no. 915", for me permanently. Previously, but some time even the 476s used extensively.
What is the difference? The 476s has just little carnauba wax and components for more chemical ingredients and waxes, which extends the already long lifetimes of waxes of Collinite again, just read more. The 915er has, however, the opposite a much higher carnauba content and shines clearly full, deep and velvety even after processing in the truest sense of the word. On dark paints the 915er conjures an extremely rich deep gloss with "wow factor", on light and white paints a velvety gloss surface, which looks super classy and can attract attention. (Note: Carnauba is a natural wax which is obtained from the leaves of the carnauba palm Brazilian It is precisely this Carnaubawachsanteil evokes the rich and special depths shine..)
But Collinite would just not Collinite if you would complete this gloss property yet to another important property ... regrettably carnauba wax has also (relatively speaking) to be adopted by paint "quickly" re even the property, ie the so-called " life "are in pure carnauba products rather short to average, we are talking about 2-3 months. Collinite has been able to increase the service life significantly by chemical additives. At no. 915 it is, with appropriate preparation of the paint with up to 10 months and above! When 476s can be with appropriate aftercare 12 months and more. I am always amazed at how long hold out both waxes. One thus obtains the natural shine of carnauba products and almost the life of seals.
One, two sets still to distinguish: wax vs. Sealers. Waxes go a only (considered time) transition associated with the paint (there shall be in effect on the paint layer such as a warming blanket), but protect and conjure up the greatest splendor. Sealers mind go a permanent chemical bond with the paint. Seals require penibelster groundwork and processing. If we make mistakes here, you have to be laboriously grind seals again and repeat the procedure, for laymen applying sealers is therefore less suitable. Also sealers produce a glossy, but it is so very different from growing, rather hard and "dry" and less "depth". Which paint protection is better to argue about the ghosts. Here, everyone has to decide for himself what he wants.
But back to Collinite.
Please do not misunderstand, at every polluted vehicle will roll off no more water, logical, and regardless of whether was waxed or not, that's just like that. But a corresponding layer of wax protects the paint still (under the dirt). Advantage with waxed or sealed vehicles is that the dirt is easier to remove. When using correspondingly mild car shampoo's, the wax layer underlying remains and pearls after every wash back "merry" from.
Why did I then renounced but very good 476s compared to the no. 915, the extremely satterer splendor of the 915ers in admittedly somewhat less life made me ultimately cast a spell.
When it comes to shine (compared to pure carnauba products) I would give the 476s a good 3 star rating, let look at the life of only a 5 star for this discipline and are legendary.
Application:
In the processing from 476s to 915, there are small differences. The higher chemical content in the 476s leaves it a Müh process easier than the 915, with its high carnauba shares.
In that regard, another objection (health) of a user, also in my view be entitled, namely, that the chemical ingredients can cause skin irritation, etc. ... well like any chemical product. "Allergen" are indeed the meissten chemical compounds on the planet. But the extreme life can not be realized with pure natural carnauba wax up. Who is bothered by the chemical, in addition to the wax should also not take effect until a pure chemical Versieglung! But there are also pure carnauba waxes, without any additives, pure natural state which, however, are very, very expensive and have to make do with much less downtime. So who all, in its technical - want to put artificial car on nature (an oxymoron), in order to avoid skin sensitivities, access to a pure natural product, or let waxworks run / Versiegelungne by a specialized company. I had no problems with the 476s, and certainly not with the 915er.
The no. 476s is very productive, up to 5-7 average size car can be fully waxed with a can, so far there are no differences to no. 915th
Anwendungstip: (applies to all waxes)
1. Wash with car sponge and car shampoo (never, never use washing up liquid or other household cleaners, as it can damage the rubber seals etc.)
2. paint after washing according to kneading (dough car) or just treat with paint cleaner. I recommend the truly world-class and well productive as very gentle Lackreiniger of "Dodo Juice Lime Prime Pre-Wax Cleanser". Through this post-cleaning the paint is prepared very clean and perfect to grow!
3. then with pure isopropanol rub the entire Fahrzeuoberfläche, thereby, the surface is very gently dust and grease. Now everything is ready for a perfect wax finish!
4. Grow:
(Like the delicate hands even when wearing gloves) Soak up with corresponding application sponge wax with only slight pressure from the can, please do not too much wax on the sponge! The secret lies in the Sparksamkeit, less is more here. And so, the wax thinly in light circular movements on the paint. Let dry at least 2-3 minutes. (The 915 has so far through the carnauba share a little longer to cure). Whether the wax can be polished, can be seen with the finger test: if the applied wax rock and dull to the touch, it can with a clean soft MFT or as I'm doing the most, be polished with a soft cotton cloth.
Tip: bring the wax box of 476s on good room temperature (18 C), so that the wax is soft, so it can be recorded better. Since it enthällt Chemical more waxes instead of the carnauba, it is far somewhat "easier" to take, since the melting point of the solvent is lower here.
If you have pre-treated in accordance with the paint and the wax has applied sparingly, the polishing is super easy and playful, almost like dust!
Tip: get Wachschutz! regular Abkärchern or washing with car shampoo extends the gloss and the security guard. Washes I personally would steer clear then if just one with textile. After washing, use a detailer that refreshes the security guard on and extends the service life. On both Collinite products best fits the "Dodo Juice - Supernatural Carnauba Glaze Detailer" with high carnauba shares. It is simply sprayed and "dusted".

Conclusion:
For the still quite good feat in outstanding service life I give like 4 stars in total.
But the enemy of good is better. The no. 915 shines considerably richer and more intense in some impaired life to 476s, therefore has the relative Collinite "Marque d'Elegance no. 915" get the full 5 stars. Fair you have to remain so.
But who picks up the 476s nothing makes and can look forward with necessary preparations on a protected vehicle paint over a very long period. The value for money is in things überwälltigend life. But who is looking more to the gloss effects, should pick up the 915er but then.
