The game is divided into 8 worlds, which in turn are subdivided into about six levels. The levels are gradually accessible, for some a predetermined number, however, must be collected at the Star Coins. Of these Star Coins are per level to collect three pieces, the replay value is therefore quite high.
At the end of about 50 just at the beginning of a very simple level, waits series typical of the villain Bowser sure to be defeated. If you have done, the game is by no means over. After Bowser defeat the special levels are unlocked, some have it neatly on the difficulty in itself. The special level is basically the second half of the game, but even then it's not over. What comes next, but you should find out for yourself.
The special levels are very similar to normal levels, but as mentioned much more difficult to master. So there are many levels a very scarce Counter which counts down from 30 seconds. One can and must to win by collecting clocks or defeating enemies seconds and may absolutely no time to lose. There are also many special levels an evil Mario, who constantly pursues its own character and this is as fast as Mario himself. Even these levels are extremely challenging and stressful. When the 30 seconds limit is also combined with the evil Mario, a level can only be mastered with the utmost skill and concentration.
About halfway through the game you can also play alongside Mario and Luigi change the two pawns before level start at any time. Moreover, it is of course possible to play at any time, both normal including special levels again. Unless already visited once, of course.
The graphics and the often very original level design have my 3D Land really liked in Super Mario and I certainly had ten hours a lot of fun with the game. I did not give it back and collected every single Star Coin. In addition, I have reached each level both with Mario as well as Luigi and graduated at the top of each level flagpoles at the level end. Who takes the time to master the game as I 100%, the expected at the end still a challenge and five stars in the profile.
I found very interesting about Super Mario 3D Land, that is just so overwhelmed with extra lives. In some levels you can collect five life without problems. I had lost at the end still more than 370 (!) Living, and had while playing about 230. I'm sure if that was not intended by Nintendo so, however, the game does not diminish.
I can only recommend any friend of Jump n Runs to Super Mario 3D Land zuzulegen. If I'm not mistaken, it is in this game, even to the far best-selling Nintendo 3DS game ever.
