The mouse pad is 2mm really very thin and the surface is smooth. I have tested several mice with the mouse pad (G700, G5, Racoon Wireless Notebook Mouse) and all worked perfectly. The sliding properties are extremely good and if accidentally tipped over time water then wipe the mouse pad einwach because the hard plastic is water repellent. Transportation is a bit more difficult, because the mouse pad is not rolled up at the mouse pad. Because the mouse pad with us but is just on the desktop and is nowhere hintransportiert, this point falls away from us.

Contraindications: - Expensive - Starr (not rolled up for transport)
The bottom line, of course, everyone has to decide for himself how much he is willing to admit for a mouse pad. I can definitely say that it was worth it for us as my wife has had the Vorgängerpad and she is very pleased with the successor.
