For outdoor shoots I always used to use lightning with rechargeable batteries. Everyone knows how annoying it can be when prolongs the charging time of a flash and the battery runs out quickly, especially if you fire quite quickly. Hin races, replace the batteries, run back. Baah ...
The batteries remain here while the flash (to the electronics to power), but the energy of the flash is now coming out of the power block. And the fierce! My lightnings are almost immediately ready for use again, if I connect to the Power Block (Attention: pro Powerblock only one flash can be connected). A Dream!
After several operations, I noticed that after repeated unloading and reloading the operating time has increased. Seems as must the block until warm. ;-)
Although I have not counted how many flashes I can fire, but after a three-hour shoot, I could still feel relaxed, because the power block virtually no fatigue shows. Should the part continues to prove so, I'm going to another set definitely yet.
A tip for users of Yonguo flashes: the version ordered for Canon. The connections of the Yongnuo flashes (YN-560, 580) are designed for Canon. Who ordered the version for Nikon, so can indeed wonderfully operate the Nikon Speedlights, but they definitely do not fit on the Yongnuos.
From me there's clearly 5 star!
