I have not bought my C7 on Amazon but directly from Google in June 2013 (not available at Amazon at the time, delivered by Google in 3 days with French keyboard). It's a great PC if you use mainly app in the cloud, like gmail, google apps, flickr ... The most impressive is the use of Office365 - indeed, the Microsoft web apps look very although Chrome OS and you can use Word, Excel, PowerPoint web app (yes, you can run Microsoft on Google OS, there are qq years, it was quite the opposite) On the other hand, when buying, Google offers 100 GB of storage on Google Drive for 2 years (at the end of 2 years, if you do not pay the subscription, you will keep your data, but you can longer store additional files). At the cost price of Google, it is a 'gift' of about 200 Euros for 2 years - so the Chromebook is almost free! A small flat on storage in the cloud: Google Drive is built for saving docs in all apps (available on Chrome Web Store) - however, Dropbox, Box, Skydrive run on Chrome OS, but not easily accessible when using an app - as a solution, I spend the integrated hard disk (not ideal). From a hardware standpoint, the basic connectors are available on the chromebook (including SD card camera) - you can add memory, if you think that 2 GB is a fair bit (there are 2 SO DIMM slots, I put mine in 8GB and this is very comfortable).
