I possess the thermometer for about 2 months and have it since eight times on the grill and four times used in the oven. Mainly I've used it for low-temperature cooking, cake and more meat and fish pieces.
The two parts (transmitter and receiver) consist mostly of plastic, but are well made.
The operation of the seven buttons is a bit strange, but automated quickly.
There are various meats and fish (beef, pork, veal, lamb, turkey, fish, hamburgers) different cooking levels to choose from. Upon reaching the cooking stage beeps the receiver. Furthermore, it is possible to set a timer or to specify a temperature.
The radio link works perfectly. I can leave the station without any problems at the BBQ on the balcony and the receiver to take to the kitchen (in between there are 3 rooms / 4 walls, approx 15m) without that the contact breaks.
The only criticisms are the accuracy and the reception delay. I always have to take about 2 ° C before reaching the appropriate core temperature from the heat to reach the selected cooking level the food. But that does not bother me further, since it also is possible to adjust the temperature threshold individually.
