The new Philips, I am using now for 3 weeks, is similar in operation, ie the device is handy and fits comfortably in your hand. Small drawback: my thumb fumbles unconsciously constantly on-switch rum (my old razor was no transition here and I will certainly get used to). The feel is otherwise fine. Particularly positive also the adaptation of the shaving head of the facial contours and shaves a lot better in the problem area below the nose.
The operation sounds are very quiet. I've noticed that you can achieve good results on the skin even with little pressure. With mostly circular movements shaving for me leads after about 2 minutes to a satisfactory outcome. He is a total of more gentle - with the old it has been there several times gezwackt (presumably when long whiskers come between the rings). In the new 9000 I previously had no problems with it. My hairs grow back relatively quickly, so I again ausschaue slightly unshaven in the early afternoon hours. This has now probably only partly to do with the razor. But Philips advertises that Bart Hart is pulled before the cut something out of the pore, promises "man" is a longer lasting facial smoothness. My wife is of the opinion that the beard hairs grow back more quickly with the new device (?).
Skin irritation I had with Philips shavers never.
The battery lasts a bit longer than a week (or two weeks, have tried a lot).
The wet-shave I have not tried yet. But I am determined, soon to buy a shaving gel. Then there is an update here.
The storage box is too small. When I go on vacation, I would like to bring the AC adapter, which I then have to carry separately in travel pastries.
Likewise, I've cleaned the Philips only dry and believe that is enough. I am pleasantly surprised at how much shaving dust, the shaving head can absorb. The dust is much finer than the way in my previous razors.

Overall, a buy rating, despite the high price. A big thank you to the engineers of the company Philips.
