The sound is really good. A true home theater I stink test with Bluray 5.1. THE PROBLEM is that there's no HDMI-IN port so the sound is only in PCM (No Dts, Dolby, ...) on my TV. I have still not found how to put out 5.1 with a Bluray in the drive, I even buy an optical cable but nothing. As against this works great when I plug in a hard drive on my Samsung TV UE46F6400, DTS, Dolby .... Everything With the HDMI cable connected in CRA. So the home theater handles all the sounds coming out of my TV.
CAUTION For connections look good, because every one of the columns possess its own colors.
Conclusion: This is a good product for its price, but if you look for a home theater, it is better to come with HDMI-IN.
