I gave the starter set Bilderlexikon animals my son for his birthday. I had previously the pen with my laptop connect (USB cable with the starter set) and the files of the lexicon load on the pin. You can download the Tiptoi 'app' on his PC on the Ravensburger website. But the supplied manual explains quite well how to proceed to make the pen ready. The book explains a lot about different types of animals and their habitats. (Forest, by the lake, in the mountains, in the jungle, underwater world, Savannah, North and South Poles). The various quizzes to be fun and ask the child first. Nevertheless, the little ones have learned the answers fairly quickly 'by heart'. The pen reads the texts and shows the child what sounds the various animals. I am very pleased with the pen and will buy from Tiptoi also books and games.
