Character / Dimensions:
The first impression of the device is very positive, although not quite on IPhone level. It is very good in the hand and can be easily operated with one hand with this also. Compact is not only in name, but was actually implemented.
Operating system / work pace
The Android operating system (new to me) is much better than its reputation. After a few days I had worked myself and am more than satisfied, in terms of functionality and clarity. All functions can be called up quickly and there is no stuttering or trailer. The pace of work convinces everybody.
Battery / Key Lock:
Of course, the endurance is highly dependent on the use, making it difficult to assess. In normal use (browsing the Internet, phone calls, ...) should hold two days, but then it must also be back on the grid. Who uses it only as a phone can certainly achieve longer maturities. Unfortunately, the key lock has proven to be not very effective and so has several times turned in a day the torch or adjust the time format of the clock. Everything just by wearing in the pocket. This I find quite annoying and very annoying as well as fast time as the battery loses a few percent. Usually one Mekt unlocking in mind that the device is warm.
Display:
The screen brightness is unusually high. The display is still easy to read even in bright sunlight. Absolut top. However, I come now to my main criticism. The display has jumped without deliberate action on the bottom right and no longer responds to input. The device is not fell off me the whole time, nor am I initiated somewhere. I've only used it with some normal surfing, telephony and as Navi. Such a problem after only 4 weeks I think for this price category totally unacceptable. I had also bought the device because it is already longer the Z series in the market and the teething problems have been resolved. So I thought, at least. I sat down with the Sony customer service department and described the event. Now I will return the unit at his own expense and of course your own risk to a repair company called W-Support.com GmbH, headquartered in Hartmannsdorf. The then out who caused the damage and let me know if Sony bears the repair or if I remain seated on the costs. Sony has therefore nothing to do with the process and I must now deal with a foreign company, as is practical. As if that would matter ??? Anyway, I am very excited about the next steps and also I wonder if such damage occurs after 4 weeks, how often or how quickly it will happen again? Maybe I should be the same without a repair and invest the money in another smartphone because I get so cheap? Anyway, I'll report on how the process goes on.
Camera:
The camera snaps good photos. Particularly when the brightness photos of people very well. Landscapes I would call good.
Versatility:
The unit is fully equipped and leaves nothing to be desired.
Conclusion:
The Z3 Compact is a feature-packed smartphone, which is very good in the hand and positive anmutet. The bright display and the pace of work are considerable fleet.
A key lock, which is not, and a display that has jumped after 4 weeks without external influence, left many question marks and put the total smartphone in question. Too bad.

Now, after four weeks time to repair (one end is still not in sight) I see leads me to update my review. Meanwhile my smartphone is longer in the repair when I was able to use it after the purchase. Indescribable. The Sony customer service does not offer replacement, although Sony confirmed that the damage was not caused by me. Rather, we now put off me again on another week to wait, even though it was a week ago on the phone that I, entitled to a replacement unit would have four weeks of waiting. It will continue to vehemently denied that it has come increasingly to problems with the display in this model. Everything was within the normal range.

Yesterday came unexpectedly a replacement unit of W support. No idea why Sony or W-Support had mercy on Next, 4.5 weeks of waiting. Maybe my calls but have made a difference. Who knows. I think about customer friendliness everything has been said. Regarding the display vulnerability I can only refer to the other reviews. Almost every day comes a new one with a broken display it. Speaks for itself. I'm curious how long the Z3C keeps this time, that I will keep it. The a landed by selling the unit financial damage is me now simply too big.
