The case is carefully processed and made a strong impression.
The drawers are easy to open (without nails), the covers jump when pressing the buttons and then serve as a lever for removing the plates.
If you go to hot-swapping in the BIOS, the ports used (eSATA, removable, etc.) then allows the panels easily plug in operation and refer back to "eject" in the BS also. If necessary, can locate the Device Manager for hardware changes after removal.
The only drawback is that there is only one power switch for both drives, so you can only switch the two plates together normally (if you will not use hot-swapping). There is an alternative without USB ports the ICY DOCK DuoSwap 2,5Z 3,5Z caddy 5,25Z. The deleyCon caddy seems the way to be identical to Sharkoon SATA QuickPort internal multi docking station black
What I only realized after I've gotten already taken the second caddy in operation, is that in addition to glowing blue LEDs for an installed drive is still the hard disk accesses will be signaled by a red LED, and the display alternates between blue and red. However, you can see the red glow only when it looks frontally and it is much more intense than the blue, almost like a laser pointer! In Tower under my desk I have therefore seen only the blue light, because I have seen from above. In a Micro Server in 19 "rack on the other hand do not blinked immmer the red LED on. The red LED has a pronounced directional characteristic, the blue, however.
And one more thing: 3.5 "HD does not seem equal to 3.5" to be -HD, at least in terms of dimensions.
The flap While the most widely used of Western Digital and Samsung HDs me any problems in the 3.5 "rack suit, I suddenly have to really exert pressure and the lock is only with much gentle pressure at Seagate. Is then arched noticeably and there creeps me feel uneasy, even if everything works without problems. After removing the drives I have then times side by side held and lo and behold, the Seagate is almost a millimeter longer than the Western Digital and Samsung HDs and therefore fits somehow rather poor in the caddy. In my case, a Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500413AS.
