February 2011:
This led me to order this kettle, it is first because what is there to metal not plastic kettles toxicity problem (especially the fact that heat in the plastic boosts the effects toxic, among other due to Bisphenol-A ...).
Second big advantage of this metal kettle: You can set the temperature to 85 or 100 degrees and possibility to increase from 5 to 5 between 85 and 100 degrees ... 85 degrees for infusions because the temperature for green tea should be d 'roughly 80 degrees, High temperature can burn the leaves and alter the virtues of tea.
The permanent temperature display is very convenient, and allows you to see the temperature rose 5 5 degree from the cold water to the desired temperature ... You can always stop the progression of temperature by removing simply the kettle from its base.
I find this tea really beautiful, aesthetic, and the picture of the site gives a very realistic view of it.
What I also enjoyed was that it is quite silent ... in fact, I read lots of comments about other metal kettles, and it appeared to be often default rather pretty noisy, while the latter I find even less than the previous that I had were plastic. His discretion is appreciated because I was apprehensive about this feature.
Otherwise a small detail also significant is that the backlit part gives a nice visual effect and is to the inner covered by metal, so there is a very small contact between the hot water and the plastic gauge used by two tiny holes (for those who buy the metal kettle to avoid toxicity problems due to the risk of Bisphenol A).
Opening systems, closing, filter and commissioning function seem perfectly formed, and use is pleasant and convenient. The end beep is discreet, we hear, but it is not unpleasant, and I must say I am quite sensitive to such details!
I have now for about three months and it remains to be seen over time, so it will work properly and reliably.
The only small detail that might be a downside for some users, it's a bit short power cord (60cm) ... personally it suits me, but we need to know.
I'll add details to my comments if necessary, and I hope fairly accurate description I made this tea will help you in your choice.
Today is May 5, 2013 and going around my comments, I wanted to take the opportunity to give news of my kettle! Well I must say that after more than two years after the acquisition I'm still happy! It works perfectly well as the first day, and I said that I served daily.
