After it has been shown that GTA was very well optimized and especially the graphics card is very important, I have made myself to the search for a new model. CARE: If you really want to activate all graphical treats in GTA V, need not only a fast card, but also as much VRAM (video memory). To be gambled in Full HD.

My new map should primarily be a => as quietly as possible! My Tower (Antec ONE) is equipped with all sorts of quiet fans, so I me this Silent concept did not want to mess with the graphics accelerator.
Even me, the purchase price was important this time => I am a student in the last semester and get very little if at all to gamble. GTA, although it is worth it, but otherwise this year is not an interesting title (for me) on the market. Because it brings me nothing, otherwise spend as much money now.
Lastly => power consumption, because I pay myself and there is an unnecessary amount of money over the Jordan on some models.
Why the GTX 960?
===================
When it comes to selling price is for me the 970 out => 330 Euro I do not give out definitely. Add to this the fact that this card can be used effectively only 3.5GB of 4.
The 290 will cost ~ 300 euros, added the enormous power consumption of this card. I know what I say, because I had already 1.5 years ago, the ASUS R9 290 DCII. Which was 90 degrees Celsius and enormous sound! No thanks. The rude awakening came with the electricity bill, as I was upgraded. The same applies to the 280X.
The GTX 770 is quite cool, fast and quiet. However, it costs ~ 270 euros and has only 2GB VRAM => Not enough to be able to with this otherwise fast map all features. The 4GB version of this card costs back +300 Euro => So out.
Then I came across the new GTX 960, which of course was torn something in the press. The 2GB version costs 200 euros narrow (no matter which manufacturer Design), is based on the brand new 2.0 architecture Maxwell. That is 28nm manufactured, lowest power consumption in its class and DX12 capable. The 4GB version will cost 248-270 euros.

Because of the low purchase price then was said Palit. Alternatively, I have the Gainward Phantom envisaged, in which, however, not switch off the fan:

- Inaudible in idle => It switches the fan simply completely from / to about 60 degrees, the fans remain in some scenarios from
- Inaudible while gambling and FurMark Burn in - test => I can not make it real! Even at ~ 70 degree whisper-quiet and definitely quieter than any case fan / CPU cooler. I can not make Spulenfiepen also (is anyway always model dependent)
- Stay cool in the heat: Idle 28-30 degrees C, 59 degrees C Gaming, Burn in Test ~ 70 degrees C
=> Toll, because thus it heats the other built-in components (Mobo, CPU) unnecessarily on and my room does not turn into a sauna.
- Extremely energy efficient: Idle ~ 70 watts, Gaming ~ 210W => A dream! Just because the rest of the components even more energy saving go to work.
- Just needs a 6 pin power connector => adapter on 8-pole is!
- High-quality workmanship, even without backplate
- Smooth gameplay of GTA in Full HD + advanced graphics superfluid. Have between 40 - 55 FPS with a mixture of high and very high. Advanced graphics enabled almost all (except for "high-resolution shadow" see tip below). Shadow "very soft (Nvidia shadow)" + 2MSAA. The human eye anyway takes everything from 30FPS as liquid and was by the 60FPS hype should one why not let make insane. If you want more FPS can Nvidia turn exclusives TXAA, namely that smoothes not quite as good, but consumes less power and is better than no antialiasing.
TIP # 1: enable Nvidia own MFAA => This is the Nvidia Control Panel and not in the game. Smooths as 4 times MSAA but costs hardly more power than ordinary 2 times MSAA. Here you can still switch to FXAA, which smooths the edges past away => Visually simply stunning!
TIP # 2: Disable only the "high-resolution shadow" in the extended menu: You can make the game hard, but they cost between 10-15 FPS! Since I have unchecked is the game in the high 40+ FPS range, which allows an extremely smooth gameplay.
FACT: The graphics card may GTA in high settings with FHD liquid display without having to make major concessions in the advanced graphics.
I can use the card easily adjust the textures on very high and this makes the memory already full of neat => It's worth it, the game looks clearly more realistic.
The map is often criticized because it has only a 128-bit memory interface => The Watchdogs (and GTA V) test has nevertheless shown: YES, the card can make the 4 GB VRAM not only full, but also use them efficiently! Why? Because NVIDIA uses a new technology, and thus compress the contents to be transmitted better and can push through the narrow memory interface.
NEGATIVE:

- Delivery tight, with me even lacked the screws. The 8 pin adapter I see it as mandatory.
NEUTRAL:

- White illuminated fan => looks awesome, it affected me not and would have MMN can omit.
CONCLUSION:
======
A horny map. Really. The performance ratio for FHD, it is inaudible, consumes little power. The drivers are mature and can use Nvidia Exclusive features such as MFAA, TXAA or FXAA (a pseudo MSAA, but costs significantly less power and is better than nothing). By really useful 4GB card can be used in games with more features and is significantly more future proof than the 2GB version. And if there are only the Ultra High textures in GTA, for me this has 4GB variant absolute right to exist!
I can (almost) recommend this card fully, because: Watch out for the purchase price. More than 250 euros incl. Porto I would not pay for this card. But then the last bit but lacking power to the old generation as the 680 or 770 to be able to catch up. Otherwise, I'm pleasantly surprised by Palit, the card is fully stable and unobtrusive.
ATTENTION: The HW-Specs in the network are often wrong. These 4GB version of Jetstream boosts the Core Clock just like the 2 GB version at max. 1290 MHz (measured with GPU-Z).
I would definitely buy this card again. Had long gone for so little money so much fun and that in every respect!
UPDATE 22:05:15 => Witcher 3 I have now testweise fired sometimes on my PC:

The game runs well here in ~ 40 FPS range, allowing an absolutely smooth gameplay. The patch 1:03 brought additional performance improvement. According to Nvidia tool memory usage is approximately 2GB. The 4GB bring here so not necessarily an advantage, but I am surprised that runs this "over-Game" so smoothly on highest settings!
