The 1995 "mini-album" "Remembrance of Things Past" by the boys of Tocotronic is still one of the milestones of the Hamburg School, even if you will perhaps not like to hear quite so in Toco stock today. Nevertheless classic likely as "Michael Ende, Pain In My Life Ruined" or "Thank God we both Gehabt" are among the favorite songs of an entire small generation - more than cope, it is possible but still no other German band (with except maybe from friends), as a matter of course and managed to embed German texts in their musical concept, without fail at the numerous blunders of the German language.
