Switch between PC and Mac

Use the switch only for switching keyboard and mouse between my PC with Windows 7 and my Mac Pro (Late 2008) with Snow Leopard. This works easily and quickly. The remote control cable is small and unauffällig.Das cable is long enough so that the keyboard can be easily placed next to the keyboard or monitor. All functions of my Genius Mouse (5 buttons) and my Cherry eVolution STREAM keyboard (simple multimedia keys) are recognized on both computers. No perceptible delay between switching. On MBPro the signals go even not directly in the MB but only once in a 6-fold USB hub - works without problems. I turn the screen to the monitor itself, as I abgreife the DVI signal from both computers. I have not tried the VGA switch.

In my opinion, the best solution for all people who like I only need a cheap switch for its USB input devices. The VGA port, I can not comment unfortunately, as I do not use it.

Update 1: Works easily with a MacBook Pro mid 2010 and Lion OS X.

Update 2 (10/2012): The device is with me for over 3 years, is still in use. Meanwhile, it has the MacBook Pro Snow Leopard + all updates and the PC Win7 + all updates - still works knotless. The small button to switch jammed from time to time (2-3 times a month), but that is after 3 years of intensive use and ok for me. I can still recommend the product fully. For VGA connection there after all this time now already enough reviews.

Update 3 (1/2015): In the meantime, the Mac is a MacBook Air running OSX 10.10 and the computer has Windows 8.1. Still everything works as it should.
