Unless we get the VO at the time of output (which is not accessible to all), French readers will have to wait 3 to 5 years (at current issue) to know what happened bows scriptwriting initiated in this volume.
This should discourage more than one, especially as the content of this book, as with most of those taken from "A feast for crows" is more a transition that the apotheosis. Little or no revelations, nor major incidents, just a (too) slow rise of various forces for a final confrontation that still appears distant.
Of course, as usual, the rich context is unrivaled (apart from Hobb and Tolkien perhaps) and absolute fans will love to dissect the left indexes here and there by Martin and extrapolate them significance. Not on, however, that this is enough to satisfy the average reader.
