I listened to albums Albin de la Simone before without really hooked. Yet the character I liked, simple, discreet, reserved, sensitive ... His work for other artists is impressive, one feels a capacity for empathy, to integrate the world of the other
Beautiful melodies, a fragile stamp and an evocative writing the indefinable. I do not put 5 stars because some pieces are lower (for my taste) and the order of the songs could have been better felt to serve the architecture of the album.
Here's one good album! No frills but not minimum, songs can be flexible, soft, deep, cinematic, delicious, simple, fair, Albin is touching & true. This album deserves a vinyl pressing.
