As noted Patricia, the part described in the 4th cover starts at about half the book This is at this moment that the little boy finds himself on vacation at his grandfather .. And paradoxically, it is not part of the book that i preferred (the account of joint activities often replacing the dialogues of the beginning of the book) The first part shows the relationship between a thirty Jean (narrator of this part) and his father, who sest formally declared hostile to almost any innovation (technical and social) more recent than the late 70s (to the exception of the DVD player to see his old films) Behind this relationship is found a description of generational conflicts and somewhat dated with the classic "better cétait before." The second part will tell the opening between the grumpy grandfather (which obviously hides an old injury) and his little son and ultimately quite surprising consequences .. The great strength of this novel which reads easily, is the meaning of dialogue François dEpenoux dialogues that result in crisp exchanges, caustic and give full flavor to this comedy Some reactions of the mother, seemed aberrant Mount ( the lack of TV, blame the small Malo has slept with his grandfather) But between his punchy dialogues, this great endearing father, a general poetry and tenderness that emerges from this novel, I have certainly enjoyed reading very moment pleasant.
