Technically, the cable blameless, but I wonder if the developers ever a standard - viewed motherboard. The plugs are as thick rubberized that possibly can be used right next to the VGA port lying USB port only under high mechanical stress of the USB connector. Whether that is healthy for the USB port, I doubt it.
