Hello, My camera a Nikon D200 therefore no problem of Autofocus with non AF-S lenses. Before I had a Sigma 70-210mm AF but over the years the rubber rings have become sticky preventing rotation of rings. So I bought the Nikkor 70-300mm Informed causes (cheap and sufficient quality between 70 and 200mm focal lengths). This is not the ultimate in the genre (few bright lens f: AF 3.5: 5.6, mini focusing distance 1.5m sometimes troublesome point) but a quality / price for a satisfactory Nikkor. Mainly used close-up portraits or proxy picture it suits me for now. For the animal in good weather and only with a stable tripod support. cordially myrddin13
