Terrific AV receiver for tight budget

I save here all technical drivel because the data on this receiver are well known. Unfortunately, my supply the Audyssey microphone was not there, but I was delivered from Denon three days later via UPS.
The menu is great and mature and leads the beginner perfectly through the installation. Feel is top and the look anyway. Now the most important thing: to sound! I operate the receiver with the devil Consono 35 MK3 in a normal living room. Nothing exactly measured, not all. At ear level, so really like Otto-Normal-Consumer I have always been disturbed by my previous system (Harman Kardon AVR 1000 Canton Movie 10 MX), that the volume differences of 5.1 sources were always very annoying. The Subwoover has the neighbors always on alert, because he thought that attack the Russians.

Not so with the Denon! After calibration with Audyssey Micro is at the receiver the Dynamic Volume feature. This ensures that the surround sound is almost perfectly distributed on the boxes and the volume is controlled dynamically for extremely loud explosions and music. Nevertheless, the voices come clear and loud and clear from the center.

The playback via Airplay is top! I choose the music from the iPhone via Spotify and the receiver plays perfectly off the music. Music playback sounds in my view in stereo mode best.

The good thing is that the receiver maintains the sound settings in each mode. So you may switch to the music once a Subwoover, he stays there and does not have to be readjusted when watching movies again.

I am glad to have opted for the Denon. The price / performance ratio is currently second to none in my opinion.
