We have the Thule 530 Freeride bike rack in a 3-week vacation tested (with repeated loading and unloading of the wheels). Once you have understood the installation instructions once (take a while!), The bicycle rack can be mounted very quickly and without any tools. The charging of bicycles (I had 2) goes alone without major effort. The mounting claw can be concluded very firmly. I had while on vacation never the problem, that the wheels were solved. However, it can not fix the front wheel as hard as I would have liked that. But this is probably a problem of all roof carrier. Here perhaps recommends a mounting with front to back. In my opinion, a addition crossbar would still significantly increase the stability of the structure (in the transport of 2 bicycles) between bicycles. (Is there perhaps as an accessory ???). The supplied locks to close off the roof rack or the Fahrades however have more tokenism. With a crowbar they are wahrscheinhlich cracked in a few seconds.
