We use these thermometers in our labs and with customers. It was always a problem to get accurate results. A little you should already know what to do so: reflective surfaces rather give incorrect measurements. I am very pleased with the accuracy of this unit. Often the deviations (against an accurate mercury thermometer) are less than 1 ° C.
