People, who hath claims he be a Luciano Pavarotti? No one, and he certainly does not. He's not a high-profile Jet Set Star, but the 'phone sellers from next door but who has retained a dream and internalized the love of music. How much more valuable and touching because is such a man (in the true sense of the word) as a highly paid professional whose voice is his profession - with nothing negative I will bring on high-profile opera singer expressed. They are estimated representatives of their craft - and rightly so - but they are not far above the things. Will say they have no quality exclusive right to opera singing.
Luciano Pavarotti has sung dozens of 'Nessun dorma' versions, without doubt very brilliant. But he has how many hearts touched outside his and the Opernfangemeinde then?. And then comes an underdog, turns on TV and believe in his unique dream. His presentation is certainly not as perfect as the professional opera stars. But he sings this is in the hearts of millions of audience, in the hearts of people - including those who have never previously enthusiastic for this type of music. And again: 'Yes, he's an underdog' ... and 'Yes, he's not perfect', but this is what touches us all and gives us hope that our dreams have a life of its own and it makes us feel joy about the fact that a we 'ordinary people' managed has to fulfill his dream and doing infinitely many of us to tears mixed with his love of music and the belief in the miracle in all of us.
Yes, thanks to heaven for people like Paul Potts - as long as there is such a life is beautiful. And yes, I love the Telekom Advertising and especially the CD. And I like the notorious and know-it not whiners who nowadays like mushrooms out of the ground - and in this case be offensive, and this seems to be confused with a negative review about the quality of a CD and its artist.
And people one more thing: The CD is the # 1 sales charts, which is normally reserved for other species such as, inter alia, the 'Mark Medlocks' and 'Dieter Bohlen' of that country. Is that not to think?
