That was probably nothing ....

As a big fan of the Men of War series, I of course had to strike even the latest offshoot of the series. First of all: who complains that only the Red Army is a campaign group is available, should be informed in advance better. The eponymous "Condemned Heroes" were prisoners soldiers who recovered their freedom when they swing engined operations for the Red Army ran in return, so to speak did the dirty work. That was already announced in previews and so in the first addon "Red Tide" could draw only on the part of the Red Army in the war. The reason for this is likely to be largely that the game series in Russia is a great success and above all is developed there. For me, no problem, if necessary, the German hardware can indeed be conquered)

"Condemned Heroes" has technically nothing new, who knows the predecessor, should also no problems with the still somewhat "uncomfortable" control have. What in this series offshoot though less important, on the one hand is the lousy able presentation of the campaign (text only, no sequences or the like), on the other hand, the absolutely desolate mission design, almost all campaign missions have the same goals: Cleaned trenches A to the advancing army the way to make free and chase after all German soldiers from village B, recently, in fact assume almost always fully AI controlled units. I go to every mission before the same: turn off a Pak-crew, take Pak, clean with Pak the remaining trenches, waiting for the after invading army will do the rest. Tanks or at least ne SFL you get almost not found, instead, one must if one wants to drive even tanks that still Strunz stupid trick KI: damage turret of the tank with ner grenade, then the crew are always! the armor on, then go and repair tanks in security. The 6 bonus missions are varied indeed, but apparently also knitted with hot needle, sometimes you have to defend against enemy groupings always same, just shoot all times with tanks on the map to bits. The 3rd bonus mission by the way a script error and never ends when a single German unit breaks through and makes it to the outskirts of the map.

Too bad, the main game and also "Red Tide" lasting more exciting missions had (eg. The Zugverteidigungsmission against overwhelming odds in German), a standard program is here only driven carelessly and always ranked the same missions together. Conclusion: not recommended.
