Basic problem: Win 7 64bit system! The WLAN stick was recognized and installed, displayed as "active" in adapter settings, but both the Realtek software and the Windows own tool showed no links to me. After wallowing through numerous forums here is the solution, which then ultimately led to success:
- Open the "Network and Sharing Center"
- Selecting "Change Adapter Settings" (in the left bar ...)
- Adapter and network card select (both should be properly installed and active) Tip: should there be more than one card "CTRL" button and hold for the selective selection
- Right-click and "bridged connection" choose (it is the above-mentioned virtual adapter installed and a network bridge)
- Because the network bridge is (mostly) not used can be immediately erased (right-click and select "Delete", the virtual adapter persists)
From now you can log on the network adapter as usual in WLAN
Bottom line two star deduction because:
- Delivery delays
- Supplied software / driver is outdated -> So absolutely online with Realtek to "RTL8191SU" Search
- Difficulties in the initial installation (see above)
- No response from the seller, when I got him where I had not the solution for the problem written,
For Gump WLAN Stick speaks:
- Super price
- Class reception
- Is stable
